MALLET and Gephi and the resources they eatMALLET, from UMASS-Amherst, breaking down the narrative bits in a very large database into 50 topics, with Gephi visualizing the network of connections between topics and subjects from an an earlier processing of the same database, but with only ten topics.  All of it running very slowly on a very new Mac Pro with 16GB of RAM.

The digital humanities needs more multithreaded applications.
